How to test or check op-amp uA 741

Connect the V+ and V- supply.
Connect any one of the input terminal to the ground.
Connect output terminal to the CRO.
Carefully touch the other input terminal with hand.
If the output is square wave, the op-amp is good.
                            
                          OR


 










Connect the V+ and V- supply.
Feed a 100 mV sine wave at the input (Vin) and verify whether the output is a square wave swinging from +13V to -13V approximately.
