Beaker



A beaker is a simple container for stirring, mixing and heating liquids commonly used in many laboratories. Beakers are generally cylindrical in shape, with a flat bottom. Most also have a small spout (or "beak") to aid pouring as shown in the picture. Beakers are available in a wide range of sizes, from one millilitre up to several litres.




Erlenmeyer flask or conical flask 

An Erlenmeyer flask or conical flask is a type of laboratory flask which features a flat bottom, a conical body, and a cylindrical neck. It is named after the German chemist Emil Erlenmeyer, who created it in 1860.

The tapered sides and narrow neck of this flask allow the contents of the flask to be mixed by swirling, without risk of spillage, making them suitable for titrations. Such features similarly make the flask suitable for boiling liquids. Hot vapors condense on the upper section of the Erlenmeyer flask, reducing solvent loss. Erlenmeyer flasks' narrow necks can also support filter funnels.



Flat bottom flask


Basically a flat bottomed flask is just like any other round bottomed flask but can be placed on a flat surface as the flask can sit upright on its own.
They can be used to mix liquids and carry out different chemical experiments just like their round bottomed counterparts. This may involve observing how different chemicals react to each other or when heated with a flame for example.
It can be used to store liquids in a fridge or other location as there is no risk of them falling over and spilling.




Specimen Jar (Gas jar)


These transparent specimen jars used for preserving different specimens in the lab are provided with a cap that fits in tight. These jars provided excellent protection to the species preserved in it.
A container used for collecting gas from experiments. It looks like a tube with a broad base and a broad opening.

I have a beautiful house.                              
It is a single storeyed building.
My house consists of a drawing room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.
All the rooms are well ventilated and spacious.
There are a good number of flowering plants in front of my house.
There are side walls around my house and a gate.
I play with my neighbours in front of my house.
I help my mother to keep my house neat and clean.
I love my house very much.

How to test or check op-amp uA 741

Connect the V+ and V- supply.
Connect any one of the input terminal to the ground.
Connect output terminal to the CRO.
Carefully touch the other input terminal with hand.
If the output is square wave, the op-amp is good.
                            
                          OR


 










Connect the V+ and V- supply.
Feed a 100 mV sine wave at the input (Vin) and verify whether the output is a square wave swinging from +13V to -13V approximately.

Soldering: It is a process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint, the filler metal having a relatively low melting point. The filler metal used in the process is called solder.

The word ‘electronics’ is derived from electron mechanics which means the study of the behaviour of an electron under different conditions of externally applied fields.

Electronics is the branch of science and technology which deals with the flow of electrons through gas, vacuum and semiconductor.

A seminar is a lecture or presentation delivered to an audience on a particular topic or set of topics that are educational in nature.

Seminar is, generally, a form of academic instruction, either at an academic institution or offered by a commercial or professional organization. It has the function of bringing together small groups for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, in which everyone present is requested to actively participate.

A small group of advanced students in a college or graduate school engaged in original research or intensive study under the guidance of a professor who meets regularly with them to discuss their reports and findings.

The word project comes from the Latin word projectum from the Latin verb proicere, "to throw something forwards" which in turn comes from pro-, which denotes something that precedes the action of the next part of the word in time (paralleling the Greek πρό) and iacere, "to throw". The word "project" thus actually originally meant "something that comes before anything else happens".
A project in business and science is a collaborative enterprise, frequently involving research or design, that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim.
The engineering project is a particular type of technological system, embedded in the context of technological systems in general.
